In future it is best to put requests that include 'Unknown Author' in the Book & Author Pages Issues folder. Most page count requests are done by new librarians or librarians without much spare time & this could be why your request was skipped over.

Could you check your copy & tell me the name of the publisher & the date of publication (just the year will be fine)

Is this book hard cover or an ebook (World Cat only has it as an ebook.

ETA: @Carol, if you use the default WC search you don't always get complete results. You can still get there from the default simple public WC search, but like in this case when it only returns the ebook edition you have to click 'view all formats and editions' then scroll/filter from there to find this one that matched the ISBN listed by the OP -> https://search.worldcat.org/title/138...

WC public Advanced search is faster and returns more accurate results, you get a direct hit on searching by 9783455016062 (selecting ISBN as the search criteria) that the simple search didn't return. :)

I read and mentioned the German hardcover version. This one has 528 pages. Unfortunately, I cannot help with the other versions

The World Cat link (World Cat is a wonderful site where the information is inputted by real life librarians) came up for me as an ebook. I'm sure you can understand I have to check. (although there is a dismaying trend now where publishers use the same ISBN for both dead tree & ebooks.)

To clarify I was asking you for the publisher & the date of publication of the German hard cover edition. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

But looking at the link that was supplied in message 3 (thanks Tal) this gives the page count as 524 pages. Can you tell me what is on pages 525-528 of your copy? Some things we count & some things we don't.

I have checked, there are only 524 pages, the last 4 pages in the book are actually just white. That's why Amazon has stated 528 pages. Publication date of the hardcover book is May 2023.

Thanks for that page count added.

Amazon gets their page counts from publishers - who in turn use estimates. A sign is if the page count is evenly divisible by 4.

Can you tell me if the description is correct for this book? (I speak very little German) This book was enmeshed with two other books of the same title.

Also is this the German language version of another of this author's books?

The two books with the same German title are still stubbornly clinging to this book. I'm going to assume its a caching issue & will check on it again tomorrow.
