No, Easter is not a holiday as it always falls on the weekend. It is funny. We say there is separation of church and state. Yet, Christmas is a public holiday. And all school's have a spring break at this time.

Huh - that's a bummer. Easter is the longest public holiday over here alongside Christmas - Good Friday and Easter Monday are both bank holidays so everyone always looks forward to Easter weekend whether they're religious or not. Plus there's the chocolate of course... The schools over here get just over two weeks off in Spring, always to incorporate the Easter weekend.

I read 1 book after April and it was called On a Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass
