The Sapphic Squad discussion

Hi! I love romantasy books, but am wanting to read similar stuff with a sapphic mc. Does anybody have any recs for sapphic romantasy? Thanks! 😊

Note: possibly something with similar vibes to Priory of the Orange Tree?

I've heard many good things about (but haven't yet read) "Bitterthorn" and "Legends and Lattes" (not exactly romantasy - it's cozy fantasy with a sapphic romance). They're both more on the cozy side tho, not epic like "Priory...".

Oh, and there's "Gideon the Ninth"! Again, not exactly romantasy, but fantasy featuring a sapphic romance. And it's more on the epic side this time:)

I'm reading The Unbroken currently, it's not exactly a romantasy (more just fantasy) but it's got two sapphic leads and there's political intrigue aplenty!

Bitterthorn is amazing, one of my favs. Also The Jasmine Throne or The Final Strife!!

Princess of Dorsa by Eliza Andrews! It’s a trioligy with a duology prequel coming out. Sapphic, politics, guard and princess trope, magic… sooooo good and underrated

The Priory of the Orange Tree is closer to strict fantasy but there is such a great sapphic relationship in it. The longing? *chefs kiss*

I’m reading jasmine throne and it is so amazing and very sapphic (you just have to get 200 pages in first). Definitely my favorite wlw romantasy yet. I also just finished the (ya) sapphic romantasy midnight girls which was fun too.
