Can you post links to the books you added without ASIN, and the respective ASIN they should have?Edit 1:
I've tried with that Lavender book and I understand what's going on:
The books you're adding have been already auto-imported from Amazon into GR, with the respective ASIN.
That is why when you're adding the books, you can't add the ASIN, it is already taken.
Another problem. The books are being imported in deleted Status, so they are invisible to GR search, that is why you don't know they are already in GR.
Another problem, they are being imported into a Elysia Strife author, that doesn't match your author name in GR, so, the books are off limits for you to edit them.
I don't know if you should change your Amazon author name, or your GR one, but as they don't match, it will always be a problem for you.
About the books, when you try to add one and you get that message that the ASIN is already taken, best thing is to ask for help in the Book and Author Page Issues. Because, otherwise, you are just creating duplicates that you will have to delete once your books leave the Deleted Status in GR:

Here's what the message says every time:
"Asin is taken by an existing book with the title "[in this case] Loving Lavender (DIY Divas Military Romance Book 3) in 'Deleted' status. If you believe this is an error please double-check your data, then check the Goodreads Librarians group. ASINs are optional so you can also add this book without an ASIN."
How do I fix this?
Right now I'm forgoing the ASIN though I don't like that. Can I put a link in my description? For some reason, I think this is not allowed.
Any ideas would be helpful.
