j u d i t h | 4 comments so i've been in a bit of a reading slump and reeeeeaaaaaallllllllllllyyyy need some recommendations. i usually go for realistic fiction or romance and i'm not super into fantasy, but at this point anything would be great. so i'm wondering; what books have made you guys really invested recently?

Anaya Robinson | 6 comments Okay I have lots of recommendations in many different genres, so I'll list some of the ones I enjoyed.
YA Queer Romance Books-
1. They Both Die at the End (sci-fi, semi-realistic)
2. Cemetery Boys (kind of fantasy- reference to Mexican mythology I believe)
3. The Sunbearer Trials (same as the last, it's a duology but the second book hasn't been released)
4. We are the Ants (realistic fiction with a few fantasy/sci-fi aspects)
5. We are okay (realistic fiction)

YA Adventure Books-
1. Percy Jackson series (fantasy)
2. The Hunger Games (semi-realistic?)
3. The Inheritance Games (realistic fiction)
4. Beasts of Prey (semi-realistic fantasy if that makes any sense)
5. The Maze Runner (semi-realistic fiction)

Other Books I Like (not necessarily YA)-
1. The Perks of Being a Wallflower (realistic fiction)
2. The Song of Achilles (historical fiction)
3. A Good Girls Guide To Murder (realistic fiction)
4. The Goldfinch (realistic fiction)
5. The Fault in our Stars (realistic fiction)
These are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head, I don't know if any of these are books you've already read (I'd be really embarrassed if they are) but I hope this helps!
