Just got Eragon and started reading it (my yt channel is on my profile, video is there). Wow, just wow. Why haven't I read this before??

I totally feel the same way. I may be a bit biased since it's one of the first fantasy books I ever read as a kid, but I feel like it does a superb job at executing the common fantasy themes. The Fablehaven series is definitely one you should check out (not too similar to Eragon but it's a series I enjoyed a lot after Eragon)!
