I agree. I held my breath the whole time I was reading. Could not put it down. The climax had so much at stake, especially after the plot twist. One of the best plot twists ever

This and The Princess Pact were my two fave books in the series. This one might even beat Pact by a little. (Mind you, I'm talking about the original series, I haven't started beyond the Four Kingdoms yet). I don't know if I'll re-read it, but I did really enjoy it. It's not a whole lot like Sleeping Beauty, though. I guess that's why it says reimagining in the subtitle, not retelling.

The Princess Pact is also a really good one. Also one of my favorites! Marie is so down to earth and it was easy for me to relate to her more than Celeste.

Yeah, I could never decide which of the two I like better. I think I might have liked the romance in The Princess Pact better? I can't remember. I do love William, though.

There was more romance in The Princess Pact because William was torn between what he thought was two women when it was just Celeste lol. I love William too though. He’s such a good person and it’s rare for someone to look deeper than the surface. Good thing he looked deeper and found Celeste 😊

The Princess Search is my favorite too! I think it’s because we really get to know Evie through the journey through her past and see her accept and love herself because of her past. Also, she and Fredrick are such a cute couple. The way he just trusted her and accepted her the way she was before she even could was perfection

My fav part of The Princess Search was probably when they were at the island.

I loved the description about island culture and the swin suit portion. It was so stunning in my mind. Honestly, I'd buy that swimsuit not gonna lie.

My favorite part of The Princess Game was also when they were on the island. I was not expecting the story to go where it did. Also, I love a well written human villain. (view spoiler)[ She changed for the better after realizing her mistake and made steps to be a better person. So proud of her for being self aware and putting in the effort to change for the better. It would've been easier to stay bitter and justify her actions. (hide spoiler)]

I definitely agree about both of those. Fredrick had so much depth, especially with his struggle for wanting to be a good ruler, person, and trying to find himself. It’s interesting because Evie believed in him in before he was able to. So they both mutually saw in each other what the other didn’t and supported each other until they could see their potential and love themselves as well as each other
