🍃Every month, we engage in a polling process to select the books we'll be reading in the following month. However, in order to cast the votes, we rely on receiving recommendations for our reading choices in the month's respective BOTM nomination channel.

🍃Typically, we have two distinct suggestion categories (one book of an completed series and one standalone) each month, unless there are any exceptional circumstances.

🍃Nominations for both categories must abide by the following criteria:

1️⃣ Should match the theme of the month.
2️⃣ Should be suitable for reading by the majority ( currently: most of us as are 13-18 y/o. So, just make sure it doesn't contain very mature themes.* )
3️⃣ Shouldn't have won any earlier BOTM.

🍃You don't have to read what the group's reading. You may read anything related to the theme of the month.
You can utilize the BOTM challenge if you want to keep track of such books. A few general rules pertaining to this include:

🍂The book can be from your TBR, books that didn't win the BOTM, your GR recommendations, it doesn’t matter. Just ensure that they align with theme. You only have to read it because the mood moves you and not because a review is due, a publication date is looming, you said you would or the plethora of other ways we make up to turn reading from a joy into a chore.

🍂You can decide to read any number of books while participating in the BOTM challenge, be it one or all of them. The shelf name you give while entering the challenge gets added to your personal bookshelves.

🍂While contesting for themes, if any other theme came a close second and you really want to read it with the group members, don't hesitate to use the buddy reads channel!
