But anyway, some books have worse historical accuracy than others lol.
But I waws just on search of some historically accurate books when I asked for Middel Ages recs is all.


Oh yeah I get that.


I love George McDonald. His are romance but they're not as much and it's a lot heavier. His books are amazing but after one or two I always need something lighter. His almost always have mystery, intrigue, and plot twists. lol I don't think they're medieval tho...


They're REALLY good. lol. They're all set in Scotland (I believe?) and they're squeaky clean from what I remember. They're christian but I don't remember them being preachy at all. Sometimes they do drag a bit but if you push through the slow parts it's always worth it imo.


The Great and Terrible Quest by Margaret Lovett is a sweet, middle grade story about a knight with amnesia, trying to finish his quest to find the true descendent to the throne.
(Also realizing I haven't added these titles to my "read" list. Excuse me while I amend that.)
