On The Same Page discussion

So, if you haven't read the Mr. Mercedes trilogy by Stephen King, you're really missing out on one of my favorite characters of all time, Holly Gibney. Start with Mr. Mercedes. You'll thank us later.

If, however, you have read the trilogy and The Outsider, please join us as we read Holly. Holly was Bill Hodges's partner in Finders Keepers, and she is now on her own, and up against a pair of unimaginably depraved and brilliantly disguised adversaries.

We are thinking to start reading this book next week sometime. I'll probably start sometime around April 24th or so. Some have already read this book, please feel free to discuss anything you want here. Some will read the book later. Don't worry. We'll come back here to talk about it with you.

I have no idea. King does say that Holly stole his heart, so we'll have to see.

Linda, I think you have a great set of books before you. I hope you enjoy them as much as we have. :-)

I read Mr. Mercedes several years ago & enjoyed it, but never read the rest. Maybe I'll get to them someday. Meanwhile, I enjoy reading the enthusiasm here.

The Mr. Mercedes trilogy was the best for me. I do love Holly as a character, but I thought the plot of the trilogy has overshadowed the books just about Holly so far. That said, I will keep on reading these books! :-)
