The Three Musketeers discussion

I saw a claim, possibly in some Goodreads review, that D'Artagnan rapes Milady (obviously in a chapter I haven't reached yet) and all English translations except Pevear's render the French with words that hide the fact of the rape. Is this true?

I am planning to buy my own copy of TTM, and the above issue would have bearing on which translation I choose.

He doesn't rape her. He disguises himself as the rival lover she is trying to get to assassinate him (she is dangling both of them on a string for her own purposes), and in the dark she fails to notice the difference....
