Nick is invited to accompany President Nelson on Air Force One to Afghanistan, a covert trip. Sam gets to experience the anxiety Nick feels daily when she faces danger on the job daily. Will it change her behavior in any way? Should it?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments At this point, nothing is going to change Sam's behavior. She thinks about being a wife and mother, but she hasn't made any adjustments yet.

Should it? I don't think so. In reality, there won't be too many trips like this for Nick. Sam will have danger in her life daily.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I liked that Force chose to give Sam a taste of what Nick goes through every single day. I really hope that it will temper her behavior, but I doubt it.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments I agree with Anita - it was good to see the shoe on the other foot.

As to whether Sam will make adjustments to her own behavior, I also doubt it. She is not the most introspective or self-aware person.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments It seems to me that, once or twice, Sam thought about being the only parent stateside when Nick was away. I want to hold out hope for her, but I agree it would be a slow and painful progression.
