Play Book Tag discussion

A few aspects of this story may haunt me for awhile - the atmosphere, the two main characters , and the sadness over the years so many of them lost. It’s only been a week since I read it, and I’ve already forgotten quite a bit. I didn’t enjoy it as much as other books I read by this author. While I was reading it, I was distracted by thoughts about what changes might have made it better. ( I hate when that happens.) In the end, I think the story came together well enough. I enjoyed the buddy read discussion about the magic in the story. I was reminded of rules I learned from early novels about witchcraft and magic. Magic performed for personal gain (or evil) will come back to bite you.
