1 The Devotion of Suspect X
2 298 pages/ 9 hours audio
This is my fourth book by this author and all of them have been 4/5 star reads for me. I plan to add more Japanese Literature to my TBR.

My number was 928 out of 1094, so I read book 924: The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo.
Read the HB: 387 pages.
I ended up giving this book 3.5 rounded to 4. I enjoyed the history of the Spanish Inquisition with a magical fantasy twist, but I couldn't get behind the romance. I'm a bit over the older man younger naive girl/woman trope.

I got 392 out of 1586. I read book 404: The Tale of Despereaux
I listened to the audiobook and thanks to it, I could finally overcome my reading slumping. The story isn't something I imagined before, but I really enjoyed it I could almost finish it in a day. It made me think that I still need some fairytale every now and then to rest my mind from all the thinking my other books made me.

My # is 146 out of 636
I chose to read book #143 - Like Trees, Walking
I read the ebook with 274 pages
This book was based on a true story of a young Black man who was lynched in Mobile Alabama in 1981. This story is told by the brother of the young man who found the body and is about the community trying to process their grief. The book is very well written and was very emotional but not in a way that is too in-your-face. I gave the book 5 stars.

My number was 1045 out of 1144.
I read book 1037 - Starter Villain.
Kindle version, 336 pages.
I enjoyed this book immensely and gave it 5 stars. It was so funny and just a fun read. The main character was sarcastic and fit into the book really well.

The Invisible Hour
Ebook 288 pages.
For me this was a 5-star read. The book was published in August last year, and it’s been on my to-read list since November. I’ll definitely read more of this author’s work.

The Ritual Bath
Kindle, 367 pp.
My number was 653. This was book 636. It has been on TBR list since January 28, 2018. I have given it 4 stars.
I have not read anything by Faye Kellerman before. This is the first in a Peter Decker/Rina Miriam series. I found the setting very interesting and it was a good solid mystery. I will read the next in the series.

Mein schrecklich schönes Leben by Holly Smale (German version of Cassandra in Reverse)
401 pages
I got #1137 of 1222, the book was #1144
Very happy to have chosen this one, I really adored it!

Generated #1626 out of 1685
The Witchwood Knot
328 pages
Overall loved it. Very creepy gothic vibes, an MC I loved, and some truly fabulous quotes that I was highlighting and running to friends to enthusiastically share with.
It felt it dragged a little in the early-middle part of the story but other than that no complaints. 4.5 stars

Grocery: The Buying and Selling of Food in America was number 1300 on my list.
307 pages, has been on my list since Sept 10, 2020.
Will report back with synopsis when finished!

I got #53 and read #47 on my TBR list - A Drop of Midnight: A Memoir. I read the ebook - 297 pages.
Overall an okay read - 3 stars. The book is a memoir by hip hop artist Jason Diakite born to an interracial couple in Sweden. He traces his family’s history - focused primarily on his African-American heritage. Sometimes it was difficult to keep track as he moved back and forth across timelines, generations, and a lot of family members.

I got #99 and read #108 Know My Name
This was a good emotional read. The writing is extremely powerful and I felt so enraged at times as to how the justice system works and on victim-blame gaming. Chanel is a strong woman who got to say her story the way, and in the process hopefully helped many women they are not alone. The book does get slow at parts but it can be overlooked!

I got #31, and read #19 on my TBR, Beartown by Fredrik Backman (432 pp).
I finally got around to this book, which it seems everyone else has already read. I don't recall ever reading fiction about hockey culture. The use of stereotypes seemed overutilized, and it was repetitive in parts. Three stars for me.

I got #840 out of 1649 on my Audible shelf. I chose to go with #841 Kind Is the New Classy: The Power of Living Graciously.
I thought it was an okay read, but it felt more like a bible study for women. I think many people (anyone not female and Christian) may feel a bit excluded right off the bat, but kudos to her for sticking with her faith and putting it out there up front. I read The Mostly True Story of Tanner and Louise for the monthly challenge. I rolled book 266 from my Audiobook To Listen To Shelf. I chose to read book 260 on my shelf.
It was a cute story with a Thelma & Louise theme. I enjoyed being on the road trip with the two protagonists - Louise (84) and Tanner (21). I liked the narrator's voice for Louise, but her voice for Tanner sounded like a teenager rather than a 21 year old.

I got #23 of 257 on my TBR shelf and I choose to read #31 Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind
As I was reading it, I realized how long it had been on my reading list. There were some interesting nuggets of information for example, how civilization are organized and how the writing system developed. As I study korean which is based on the Hangul alphabet, that was particularly interesting to read.

I got #5326, for a range of 5306-5346 and finally selected #5329 - The Honeymooner which was a fun look at the path to where you always thought that you were destined to go vs the path less traveled.

Head to your "My Books" page. Look at how many books are on your To Read list. If you're not sure, you can see here on your sidebar:
Okay, now go to https://www.random.org/ I want you to enter in 1 as your minimum number, and your number of books on your To Read list as your maximum. So when I took these screenshots it looked like:
Then hit generate. So my example generated 1051.
I'm going to head back to my To Read list. I am going to sort my To Read list by the # (number) on the left hand of your list. To sort by number, click here:
If this number column doesn't appear go up to the right hand side and click the "Enabling Sorting" option here:
Now navigate to your number you have generated. From my example above, that's 1051. It's a 4 digit number and it only shows 3 numbers in the screenshot, but I promise this was the result I got:
