I'll start!

When my son was just under 2 years old we went to Chile and pushed the limits of comfort by booking him as a lap infant. We were in a row of three seats and a woman in the aisle seat offered to move to a middle seat so that we could have the full row for the 11 hour flight. SO kind. She sacrificed her own comfort for total strangers and we ended up having a lovely conversation with her. I’ll never forget that kindness.

Alastair Boocock I was overambitious and underprepared on one occasion in my 20s trying to cycle too far and I 'hit the wall'. It was frightening as I was wobbling about on the road which was a busy fast main road route plus is was snowing lightly that day. I came across a roadside café (on wheels) and they were very accommodating giving me something hot to eat and drink even though I had no means of paying for it with me. As they had a van to pull their café to and from the location each day they very kindly put my bicycle in the back of it and drove me to where I was living, which was around 25 miles away. I've never made that mistake again i.e. have prepared better and never 'hit the wall' thankfully 🙂👍

Sounds like a great lesson learned but also, isn't the kindness of others truly humbling? I'm so glad they were there to help you!

Alastair Boocock Me too, I wouldn't have got very far / further without them, that's for sure.

That was so kind of her! I'm glad you were able to have a good time at the concert and that someone's kindness helped you out. Thanks for sharing!

Antonia Oesterreich | 1 comments I recently broke my foot and have been using crutches. So when I went to school the other day and it was literally pouring rain, this lady just came up to me, smiled and held her umbrella over for me the rest of the way. <3
