Thank you so much for featuring me! Would be glad to answer any questions/send anyone bookplates, and will hopefully have a few fun things as it goes along!
Much thanks for your time and giving the book a chance!

Happy to chatter about it but don’t want to spoiler anything or clog up the feed! I have free signed bookplates and a cheesy trailer and would love to do a couple giveaways, if folks are keen
Started this last night when I had a little time. The next thing I knew, I was a third of the way through it and could’ve stayed up all night. This is really good writing, Dan. The word choices are impeccable and breathe so much life into this tale. I feel like I’m on the lake in the middle of the night in a leaky boat.

The boat scene was great - one of many excellent scenes. There's some real vivid intensity to this book.

It goes a bit sideways around the halfway point haha. But hopefully in a fun* way!

I'll say- my favorite scene is in the middle where we see our protagonist's attempt to get help play out. "Fun" IS a word that could be used to describe it, though I can think of other better words that would risk spoiling the story!

If youve read one or both of those, I can find substitutions, too
Also if you want a signed book plate for Linger, would be happy to mail it out your way for free!

I realized that I haven't posted any comments even though I read the book this month with the group.
I wanted to let you know that my favorite part of the book when when you described the lake at night as shiny like a black plastic garbage bag. That image has stuck with me for several weeks now!
Dan wrote: "Reaching the end of May and just wanted to say thank y’all who read and responded and took the time to visit! Whenever it all closes up, Id be happy to mail a copy of my other book (The Eater of Go..."
Thanks for joining us Dan.
And may I add, I enjoyed The Eater of Gods when I read it. We need more good mummy horror.

And, the book would be a great pick for the mummy prompt in the Song Challenge: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
