Scripted in Fantasy and Fiction discussion

I have finished all of ACOTAR, CC, 4th Wing, TOG and FBAA. Done. I'm scared to be alone. This is truly the only place I thought to come. I'm open to type of fantasy, but need the combo of world building (if possible), a good portion of spice and handsome book boyfriend. I'm not asking too much, eh???

Not a series and not exactly what you’re asking for. But i wanted to recommend Starling House. It’s not a series, just one book. Good enough while you pick a series to read next i guess?

This is awesome. No, no Plated Prisoner, Atonement et al,others have mentioned Serpent, etc. Has anyone read The Awakening by Jennifer A.? It comes up as I finish the FBAA series!!!!

Spark of the Everflame <--- this is the closest I have ever felt to the same feelings of ACOTAR. Insanely good, and there are 3/4 books already out.

A Dawn of Onyx <---- this was the first book I read when I realized I started caring more about the plot than I did about smut and it was very well done.

The Jasad Heir <--- this was very similar vibes to TOG but in enough ways to keep it very interesting. Plus if you like Egyptian culture, you'll love this.

The Book of Azrael <---- and last but not least, the most thoughtful and beautiful series I have read so far. The 3rd book comes out at the end of this month and I can't wait. Both books she wrote have been so beautifully done. Do not skip this series if you loved TOG.

I would recommend the Beasts of the Briar series! I’m on book two and I love it so far . Heartless by Marisa Meyer is a great standalone too!

Ok, Amanda, I read Kingdom of Lies series - the final book comes out 5/30. Loved it, now reading Spark of the Everflame. You have excellent taste. I will ask you for what's next from now on. It's on my shelf but I'm waiting for at least one more in the series before I start it. It's JLA and I've never read a book or series (and I've read almost all of them) of hers I didn't love, so I want at least two books to binge.

Broken Kingdoms series by LJ Andrews (finished)
followed by The Ever King and The Ever Queen (book #3 on the way).

The Bargainer series by Laura Thalassa. (finished)

Kingdom of the Wicked by Keri Maniscalco (finished, but there's also one additional standalone book in the same world, with others on the way)

For someone like Jacks, the cruel prince is rlly nice (if u haven’t read)… powerless by Lauren Roberts is rlly popular as well💖🫶
