Jamie | 12271 comments Claimed 2 to start since June will be a good reading month for me.
Reading:
Closed Hearts (a in hearts) for 14
The Gold-Bug and Other Tales (the) for 8

Also Eldest but that will likely take a couple weeks.

No idea what I am reading after that yet.

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments I’m doing another readathon as well this month. I’m going to start with Magic Lies and Deadly Pies by Misha Popp. What line might this count for? Do we get any bonus points for reading LGBTQ authors?

message 21: by Brooke (new)

Brooke ♥booklife4life♥ (booklife4life) | 6433 comments bleh I hate when these start on weekends, I can't get any reading done usually and it's just a bad start for me.

message 32: by Brooke (new)

Brooke ♥booklife4life♥ (booklife4life) | 6433 comments I used our pass for line 22 since it's has some bigger 'harder' words to use and it's a free 10pts that doesn't carry over. All the ones with the "wah, sun, the" seem easy enough to do and line 15 has a good amount of smaller 'easier' words so thats why i went with line 22

message 33: by Brooke (new)

Brooke ♥booklife4life♥ (booklife4life) | 6433 comments I can start knocking out the "wah, sun, the" lines after i finish my current claims, just gonna grab some short cozy mysteries.

Good idea!

message 35: by Danielle ♥ (new)

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments I didn’t realize we had passes. That’s great! Do we only have the one pass? Why did we use it so early? If we have another we should hold it until towards the end for whatever is leftover and/or whatever we seem to be struggling with, and, maybe agree upon what we use it for? Line 22 has “in” and “the” in it which seems really easy to get so I don’t think we should have used our pass on that one. My current book would work for that line.

message 36: by Brooke (new)

Brooke ♥booklife4life♥ (booklife4life) | 6433 comments we get a new one every board we complete, and everyone has most stuff claimed, the unclaimed ones all have "the" in them so they're easy. I can get 4 books done in a day if I push myself and read literally whatever would fit so don't worry too much about struggling to finish lines

message 37: by Brooke (new)

Brooke ♥booklife4life♥ (booklife4life) | 6433 comments next round we can definitely vote on what one to pass but there are people who don't check/comment for days/weeks, so idk how well that would go but again, we can definitely do it.

message 38: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments I didn't notice the pass part either. That is handy as the board fills up. I am done with work finally for the rest of the month, so let the reading commence!

message 39: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Lynn | 2274 comments I should have 3 to post tomorrow

message 40: by Sierra (new)

Normally I'll finish my first book this weekend.

message 43: by Brooke (new)

Brooke ♥booklife4life♥ (booklife4life) | 6433 comments Everything but line 20 is good on board 1, any title with "the" in it will work, so if anyone has something that will work, please claim it.

if i finish my two i have going, i can grab it if needed.

and since board 1 is basically good, we should start claiming stuff on board 2 if you can/want.

message 44: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments I’ll be posting later today :)

Whoops i missed 28 also being blank (or maybe someone had it and now doesnt) but still just a "the" needed

message 46: by Brandee (new)

Brandee | 1063 comments Brooke if you finish your book for line 7 - go ahead and post it and I can put my book for the next round

And that goes for line 27 for anyone else too. Super busy right now so I can always do my reviews for the second round :)

message 47: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments I finished a different book than planned first but still took line 14. Pushed Closed Hearts off until the next board

message 48: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments I could move it to spell out the on the first board if needed but I am only 1/3 finished so going to be at least a couple days or more.

message 49: by Edith (new)

Edith (xeesky) | 56 comments I just posted for line 20 y’all, that just means that 28 is still left unclaimed

message 50: by Sierra (last edited Jun 09, 2024 12:00PM) (new)

Sierra Lynn | 2274 comments I just posted 3, i noticed that not everyone is using the spreadsheet now we have 3 lines doubled
