Nox not meeting Aelin still bothers me and is so unsatisfying!
I thought Aedion was super harsh on Lysandra. Like, ok I get it you should've been in the loop or whatever, but not even Rowan knew I think.
Ending was perfect for me. I was sad that it ended, but then I immediately jumped into CC. Lol

No literally like I understand Gavriel's death for blocking the gate, but like couldn't he had just done that from within the walls...Aedion and him deserved a proper father son bonding moment.
I have all the ACOTAR books, and I'll probably read that next, but I just don't know how it will live up to the standard of ToG.

I basically cried the whole book over everything. Aelin being tortured, losing her scars and magic, Fenrys almost dying and taking the blood oath, Gavriel's death (which felt so unnecessary), the 13 destroying the witch tower (still crying for Manon), and Dorian's dad. It truly was a devastating but thrilling book.
I wish we got to see more happy endings for some of the characters though. Like what happens with Dorian and Manon. They need to get married and live happily together forever. Please write a Manorian book SJM! And Nox Owen not meeting Aelin was a bummer. I wish we got to see Aelin and Manon say goodbye to each other too, even though their moment together where they sat with Abraxos was very sweet.
I love Aedion and Lysandra together and I'm glad they worked through their issues, as painful as it was to read. Also, Elide and Lorcan are so cute. Elide saving him was amazing. And Fenrys, my little baby, I love him so much. He deserves nothing but happiness.
Lastly, Aelin and Rowan. My Queen and King. Their love story and development was phenomenal and a thing of true beauty. Forever will love them two together.
