I'm looking for books set in the Great Depression in the south that have amazing dialogue. The Four Winds is pretty good, but I'm looking for authentic sounding. Any suggestions ?

Where the Crawdads Sing has some good venacular...it's also a great story! Takes place in the marshes of...??? North Carolina (I forget now)...
