The Red Notebook by Antoine Lauraine is a sweet little book set in Paris which seems to get in the minds of the two main characters, Laure and Laurent.

One night as Laure is about to enter her apartment building, she is mugged and has her purse stolen. The next day Laurent notices it in a trashcan he passes and retrieves it and takes it home after having no luck at the police station.

Inside the purse is a red notebook which is the title of the book and this is the story about what happens after Laurent opens the red notebook and begins reading.

People who love sweet little stories and the Parisian atmosphere will love this book.
