Brooke wakes and Sam has to tell her what happened to her at that “party” and about the video uploaded to the internet. How does a girl this age recover physically and emotionally from all of this? How does it shape her as ages into an adult?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments Brooke has strong support from her family. Hopefully, she will get the help that she needs. I think the fact that she can't remember may be a blessing in disguise as she does not have to relive the trauma.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Brooke has a good support system as a foundation. The next step is to get a good therapist to help her move forward.

Recovery is relative. She will learn ways to deal with her trauma, but it will always be in her head. It will be difficult to form relationships in the future because trust after a rape is difficult.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Her family will support her, for sure. She needs a good therapist who help her learn to cope with the negative hateful speech sure to come her way. She needs find some true friends who won't judge her for what happened. Lauren is right, it is a blessing she doesn't remember much of what happened.
