Jan (jan130) | 2663 comments A Contracted Spouse for the Prizefighter by Alice Coldbreath. A former prizefighter, now a businessman/entrepreneur, and a woman who wants to be a music hall performer. Could easily be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this one and would happily read it again.
A Contracted Spouse for the Prizefighter (Victorian Prizefighters #3) by Alice Coldbreath

Slowly Fell: A Tale of Love and Thumbscrews by Jayne Fresina. Another very enjoyable book that I would happily read again. A blacksmith and an 'ordinary woman' (an admiral's daughter). But there is so much more to this lovely book.

I read Silver Lining a few years ago and I remember liking it, so I would happily read it again.

Sorry, for the delay, but we had a little question with the nominations.

I'm sorry, Mariana and Mamacita, but these books don't fulfil the requirements of the trope, for this BOTM:
Lost Lover - Mary Lancaster ---- IS A DUKE
The Dreadful Duke - Grace Burrowes ---- SHE'S A DUKE WIDOW

Thanks!

Good point, but I believe not, because in the theme says "No lordly titles here"
