The good news is with some of these (Jennifer Dugan, Sophie Gonzales, Amy Spaulding) I think there’s no wrong answer for which book to start with.
For Alexandria Bellefleur, I think starting with Written in the Stars is the right move because if you like it you get two more books with the same characters.
For Nina LaCour, just get emotionally destroyed by We Are Okay and then almost everything (cough Hold Still cough) is uphill from there.
