✧Bella✧ I'm weird, in TLC, my fav may be Jacin. Also, Jacinter might be my fav ship, even tho I usually don't like the childhood-friends-to-lovers trope. I also love Cinder and Kai tho, both as individuals, and as a couple.

I might have to reread it lol.

✧Bella✧ The last fairytale retelling I really enjoyed was prob Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge (I do have some content issues with it tho.)

✧Bella✧ It's marketed as a Beauty and the Beast retelling, but I'd say it's more Bluebeard than anything else. It takes inspiration from multiple things tho.

📚 Alana (professional book nerd) I’m enjoying Dust by Kara Swanson which is a Peter Pan retelling! Also, the timeless fairy tales series by K. M. She’s (one of my all time fav authors) is a bunch of fairy tale retellings! I love them because they all tie in to each other, and also are clean!

✧Bella✧ I've looked at both of those in the past. Dust looks really interesting.

📚 Alana (professional book nerd) Evangelise wrote: "I’d highly recommend Dust. It’s amazing, and written by a Christian. I actually knew the woman who wrote it for a short time. She is so sweet."

Cool! I am loving it soooo much!!

✧Bella✧ Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge. It's a loose retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. Here's my review

ocean ☆ (jacks’s version 🍎) | 34 comments defy the night is really good and it’s based off of robin hood

✧Bella✧ I LOVE Defy the Night, but I never really consider it a retelling lol. But yeah, the first book is based off of Robin Hood.
