How It Works:
The story will continue with a different task to complete each day. Some days may be posted in advance, you can still complete these the day they are posted.
When you think you know the answers(s), simply send me a personal message making sure to let me know which day's task(s) your answer(s) are for.
I will then send you a message back, letting you know how many you guessed correctly, and which ones you got wrong.
If you get an answer wrong, don't worry, you have three chances to get it right. If you think you've found the right answer, simply message me again ☺
All tasks will remain open until the challenge ends at 00:01 on July 31st 2024.

★ Tasks will be posted daily or will be posted in advance.
★ Tasks are open from the time they are posted until the challenge ends.
★ Answers should be sent via personal message to me. Please include both the question and answer so I know which task you're completing.
★ Please be careful to spell answers correctly, or link me to the book, otherwise, I might not realise that you have the correct answer.
★ Once I have read your message, I will reply to you to let you know how many tasks you have answered correctly. (Please be aware that you may not get a response right away, partly due to time zones, and partly because there will be a lot of things going on ☺)
★ If you answer one or more descriptions incorrectly, you do have up to 3 chances to answer correctly, simply send me your second guess, and/or third.
★ Answers posted in the thread will be deleted, and the person who posted them will be disqualified.
★ This is a non-reading challenge, you do not need to read anything for this challenge, you simply have to find books which complete each task.
★ This challenge will end at 00:01 on July 31st 2024, Pacific Time - https://greenwichmeantime.com/time-zo... Answers received after this time will not be counted, so please be sure to send in your answers before this time. Do not worry if you sent your answers in but didn't receive an answer before the end of the challenge. As long as your message is sent before this time, it will count ☺
★ Winners for this challenge will be announced on July 31st, which is the day before the results for the overall MMC. Points for this challenge will count towards your overall MMC score.
★ There is no need to sign up for this challenge, simply send me your answers when tasks are posted ☺

Here are some hints, tips, and tricks which might help you during this challenge.
1 - Our group search function, found on the right-hand side of the screen on our group pages -
2 - Goodreads shelves can come in handy if you are searching for a specific tag or genre - https://www.goodreads.com/shelf
3 - Google image search - who knew that you'd ever need to search for a picture? Handy though - https://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en
4 - Google in general - https://www.google.com/
5 - Searching a specific site using Google. On Google, type in the words you're searching for ( like - Born with a gift ), then after your words, type the following - site:goodreads.com
This isn't limited to Goodreads, you can use this to search other sites too, just type in a different site name.
6 - Don't forget Lists - https://www.goodreads.com/list

Q: Can I attempt the tasks in any order?

Q: Are all the specific books guaranteed to be in the group? Like the ones for the cover challenges and the specific book clues challenges?

quick question, when trying to email you it says you cannot accept messages at the moment, is that normal?

I feel like Google image search used to be good but now it just gives me a bunch of ai returns with similar vibe to that artwork. Apparently an exact match doesn't exist! For #15 I'm looking at lists for books at Las Vegas because I think that's the reflection of a neon light. I also went to my library and skulked around the mystery section just based on the colour theme (no luck yet, hope you find it).
