I think one of them is a tiger shapeshifter and she cannot touch him without burning/hurting him. Would have been read around 2015ish? In one scene they are on a mega yacht/boat and the MC and tiger are sitting outside on the deck. Any ideas would be much appreciated!They were all working together against some evil thing or person.

I assume Laurel K. Hamilton - Anita Blake series is too obvious?While I don’t recall a yacht some other elements match.
