♥ Sandi ❣ | 143 comments Sleep No More: Six Murderous Tales Sleep No More Six Murderous Tales by P.D. James by P.D. James

Six mystery stories in 192 pages. Published November 14, 2017 Many editions - including in French, Spanish, Greek, Czech and Finnish. In hardcover, paperback, audio, ebook and Kindle.

Synopsis ~~
When it comes to crime, it’s not always a question of “who dunnit?” Sometimes there’s more mystery in the why or the how . And what about the clever few who carry out what appears to be the perfect crime? Or whose most essential selves are changed by the crimes they commit? And what about those who know the identity of the murderer but keep the information to themselves? These are some of the questions that these six stories begin to unlock as they draw us into the inner workings—the thoughts and emotional machinations, the recollections and rationalizations, the dreams and desires—behind both murderous cause and effect. And no one gets inside the head of a perpetrator—or makes it a peerlessly thrilling and entertaining read—like the incomparable P. D. James.

Please drop your September book Nominations here

Berengaria I second the PD James book of short stories (which I know Sandi has already read 😉)

James is a very good author and maybe since stories are shorter, the group could discuss each story during the month...and not wait until the last days to say anything about the work. Could lead to a bit more activity here.

♥ Sandi ❣ | 143 comments Started Berengaria - not finished yet...lol It keeps getting pushed to the back of the line, so thought if we read it as a group I would get it finished. Only one story into it so far.

PS thanks for the extra nomination and I would go along with your suggestion of discussion after each story.

Yes I agree with both of you. We can do this and discuss it story wise

I guess as we do not have any nominations for the month of September. We can read this book, if both of you haven't read it already.
