Vasudha, most of us don't know most of the books. One of the main purposes of the Pick It game is to expose us to books each reader really wants to read so that we can add really good reads to our own shelves. If I don't know the books being voted on, I look them up and read the blurbs and usually vote for the book I would most want to read. If you are in a hurry, you can vote based on the author or even the book cover. Or if you recognize a book you have already read and liked, you can vote for that one. If you have no time at all, just vote for whatever title appeals to you most. This exercise is for FUN! No matter what book wins, it's OK as the players are only listing books they really really want to read.

No worries guys. Chill your beans. I obviously need to amend the rules at the top of the threads and I will. Further clarification and all that. Bear with me.

I was asking Sharon, Kirsten. I don't remember seeing anything on your list I recognize.

I think the point is that it doesn't matter whether you recognise the books on other people's lists or not, just pick the one that sounds most interesting to you or has the most attractive cover or something. That's what I've been doing anyway...

I might have to look at Kirsten's list again.

There are a few lists where I just had to look at the books. I didn't recognize any of them. There's one person who had all indie authors which I don't normally know. BUT I STILL VOTED.

IMHO, if you post a list for people to vote on, you are obligated to vote for them too!
