AUGUST '24 SERIAL READER CHALLENGE

August is usually the hottest month of the year in most of the United States and Canada. This month, gather your family and eat outdoors. August is National Picnic Month. You can have a picnic in the park, at the beach, or even in your backyard!



TO PARTICIPATE IN THE AUGUST CHALLENGE:

♦Pick five series that you want to read.

♦It can be a new or an on-going series.

♦Post the name of the series and the covers of at least two books that you have not read.

♦There must be at least two unread books in the series. No re-reads allowed.

♦You may re-post a series chosen before as long as there are at least two unread books.

♦Post series now through July 20th.

♦Pairs will be posted on July 21st.

♦Select a series for your partner between July 21st and 24th...sooner is better

♦Next month, read two (or more) books from the series selected for you.

That’s a series I like to keep up with too, Zermeena. I got way behind for awhile and then binge-read the most recent handful to catch up.

BRIGID!!

You are terrible for my TBR. Just. Sayin. I already read three of this series, which is good progress. But I found them amusing enough to go out and get the remaining sets to fill out the rest of this series which is, BTW, 37 books, plus I got the first couple from the associated "cases" and "travel" series..... In some ways it's a little derivative of Stephanie Plum but the setting, situations and characters are different enough to feel fresh.

Wow! You are taking this very seriously. I enjoy most of my books as audios these days because I don't feel I have the time to sit and enjoy like I used to. I put on my TBR pile what I can find on audio from the library or Audible. I will search for these.

I finished both my books in the Bookmobile Cat series. I loved them both and I'm looking forward to reading more.

I couldn't sleep last night so I ploughed through The Sequinned Cape Murders and The Swan Dress Murders and loved them both!

Finished my first, Like Hilary, I had trouble sleeping last night.

Finished my second, Pinned for Murder over the weekend. This series was fun to get back to.

Finished my second yesterday.

I finished both of mine a few days ago. I really enjoy the husband-wife sleuthing team.
