Werner | 1726 comments The website www.girlswithguns.org has been mentioned occasionally on some of our threads. Jim McLennan, the main administrator for the site, is an Internet friend of mine; and late last year, he asked me if I'd be willing to contribute book reviews to his site. (He's more into movies, and often doesn't have time to read, whereas I'm just the opposite; so he thought I could help fill a gap.) I told him I would; so since then, I've been sending him some, based on my Goodreads reviews, but polished and adapted a bit for the special focus of the site. All the book reviews there can now be accessed from one link: www.girlswithguns.org/book-reviews (or click on "Reviews A-Z" on the line at the top of the site, and then on "Book Reviews"). Most of the ones listed are mine; the older ones are by Jim himself. Readers in this group interested in reviews for books of this sort might find that site worth checking out. Unlike some reviewing venues, it doesn't stick to newly-published titles --any fiction with women in action roles is fair game, even if it's been in print for years, or decades! Caution: the combat-ready females who grace the "banner" atop the site are sometimes (the images rotate over time) more scantily clad than I'd like. But they ARE clad, and there's no disrespect intended. (Disrespecting a lady with a machine gun wouldn't be a wise move, anyway! :-) )

If anyone knows of other sites that focus on action heroine book reviews, you can use this thread to post those links as well!

The admin, Zen loves reading books with action heroines. Also if the book is not a good match for her, she's will to put up a guest post so you're still getting exposure.
