The Inheritance Games question

ME TOO!!! I just never liked her and hated how she ruined Jamie and Greysons relationship. Also I feel so bad for her sister her whole world was ruined when she died but not in a sweet way. Rebecca literally couldn’t function after Emily died because her whole life revolved around her sister.

I HATED her. God, every time they brought her up I wanted to scream. Like, everyone acted like she was an angel, but she was such a horrible person! The way she treated Gray and Jamie, was horrible, but she was even WORSE to Rebecca.

Like others said she’s incredibly annoying and has a knack for manipulating those around her. The way she treated Gray and Jamie was unacceptable, but her behavior towards Rebecca was even worse. It’s frustrating to see Avery constantly compared to her by Gray and Jamie. I felt so bad for Rebecca, she didn't deserve that!

Oh yeah she absolutely sucked. Yes, she had some crazy heart problems, but she was so rude to Grayson and Jameson with that whole dating thing. And also making Rebecca feel like she was never good enough. I wanted to slap both Emily and Rebecca in the face, Emily for being such a crappy person, and Rebecca for not allowing herself to move on.

In general, it's agreed upon that she was a terrible person, and I agree with that. She was clearly manipulative and awful to the people that loved her. On the other hand, since we didn't actually get to see her when she was alive, we only got commentary on her as a person from people who hated her guts anyway. I don't think she deserved to die so young, she should have had time to change. That doesn't change the fact that she was wrong to mess with Grayson and Jameson's relationship, and to allow such a horrible one with her own sibling. Rebecca deserved a better sister than her, she's so sweet.

Honestly I kinda hated her lmao like sorry but all the guys would do (especially Grayson) is just yap abt her like bro I don't give a shit. She's dead and that's it. I get it if this was smth that actually happened irl I wouldn't hate her but while reading and trying to enjoy the first book, it really was a pain in my ass lol.

I hated Emily. She was such a terrible person to both Jameson, Grayson, AND Rebecca. She was the reason for the tension between both brothers and she made Rebecca feel horrible about herself. Maybe if she had actually been alive we could've learned a little more and tried to like her, but I'm not even going to bother because I HATE HER.

So true! She was just so unkind and rude to others around her. I low key feel bad for Avery being compared to her because like um…she’s (Emily) kinda insane.

I hated her because she was a controlling person and played Jameson and Grayson just because she didn't want to choose between them and wanted adventure. She manipulated everyone to do her will and obviously hurt a lot of people mentally.

The whole book I was wondering why the one character who was dead was the most aggravating.
