Farnsworth faces intense backlash for the Springer debacle when William Springer says his son died because of his incompetent decision. We know he delayed arresting Billy because of the undercover sting and without the leak, it might have worked fine. It was always risky but was it the absolute wrong move? Should Farnsworth resign or be removed for it?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I don't think it was the wrong decision on the surface. Hindsight is always 20/20. Considering he has a stellar career so far, I don't think he should resign; even cops are human.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I agree, Sharon. Farnsworth's leadership has been great for his whole career. It would be dumb to fire him or have him resign because of a mistake. The biggest problem the police have is the person who is leaking the info. They need to set a trap for him.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments No, but there should be an investigation into his decision as well as into how the information was leaked.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments It wasn't even a day delay. It all comes down to the leak. No leak and operation goes as planned. Farnsworth shouldn't resign, but a thorough investigation that exposes the leak is a must.
