William Springer is found dead in his office by his assistant and his lover, Pamela. It was intended to look like someone from the Metro Police Department had offed him because of the accusations he was hurling at them. What did you think at the time?

I thought it was a setup to look like the cops. I knew it had to be someone else.

It was at this point that I became convinced that someone was after the department, and it wasn't going to stop until they figured out who it was.
