The Unbearable Lightness of Being
question
Misleading use of quote reference

Hello! good day, I'm a curious individual reader of some self help books, but I have just a genuine concern regarding the misuse of quote reference,
"When nobody wakes you up in the morning and nobody waits for you at night and you can do whatever you want, what do you call it, freedom or loneliness?"
the quote above is one of the famous quote in the internet, but I have some question, lots of people is saying that this quote came from Milan Kundera's book "The Unbearable Lightness of being" but upon reading and searching, I didn't read anything about this quote. Some also is saying that this quote came from Charles Bukowski, but the problem is, no one can actually present an evidence of where this quote came from, they mentioned people yes, but there's no clarification of where this quote cam from, like book origin or something. My concern is why do people take anything as Facts when they didn't even check themselves the true origin of the quote, this is a bit misleading. hopefully someone can either scold me or explain to me kindly where this quote originally came from, thank you for reading this long paragraph of mine.

Hello, this quote is in the "Post Office" from Charles Bukowski. Milan Kundera has quotes like this but this is not from Milan Kundera.
