Even after Sam returns to work, she’s still committed to her new duties and role as the Second Lady. Did her hiatus and time spent with her White House staff enlighten her or is she just evolving? Did the trauma of her ordeal with Stahl trigger reflection or change? Your thoughts?

Every one in a while. Sam shows some self-awareness and introspection. I'm not sure this will last long...

I don't think it will last. She is still in recovery. Once she is back in her environment, she will forget about the Second Lady duties if she can get away with it.

Maybe it will moderate her behavior? But I doubt it. I do think she realizes that the role of second lady is important and that she does have responsibilities to fulfil.
