Lily | 6 comments My favourite book is the first one.

Kashfa (kashfaarman) | 5 comments my favourite books are the 3rd and 4th ones. they are the best.

my favourite characters are Luna and Ron.

ironically, I'm a Slytherin.

but proudly I hate Dumbledore, he was extremely biased and manipulative. (it's my opinion, you may like him)

Lily | 6 comments My favourite character is Hermione.
I personally like Dumbledore but that’s just my opinion.

sam | 10 comments Like yeah what’s the point of reading the books if you have already seen the movies

I watched the first 2 movies before reading the books and it didn’t make my reading experience any worse. I’d recommend reading the books

Lily | 6 comments I have also watched the movies maybe 3-4 times each, they are amazing but in the books you get a longer version of the stories and events that don’t appear on the movies.

well.... i say the books have much more character depths. like you don't know... in goblet of fire... Hermionie started a revolt... sort of a movement for the cruelty against houseelves.
harry gave the money he won in triwizard tournament to Weasley twins to start their joke shop.
also story of the house elve winky.

Luna was very cool. Luna did not really like Hermionie. Ron started playing quidditch in 5th book. Ron and Hermionie as a couple makes more sense. finding horcruxes is so much more fun. complete back story of voldemort. etc etc

Jora | 1 comments I genuinely miss the Harry Potter phase ! ❤️

message 11: by Alexis (new)

Alexis | 5 comments The Harry Potter series is a fantastic book collection. I read the first 3 before starting the movies, and I actually liked reading it more than watching it. I feel like some of the funny lines and comments were missed out on, but the movies really showed how connected to the characters I am. Seriously, if you haven’t read or watched the series, you are missing out big time.

Mimi (youvereachedmimi) | 11 comments I started reading HP when I was 6 and still love it. @Jora totally agree I really miss that phase where we were all potterheads.

message 13: by Lara (new)

Lara I read the series for the first time in my early twenties and it was a whole experience. Luckily I read the books before seeing the movies since the movies are missing so many important parts of the book! I definitely want to re-read the books this fall🫢

message 14: by Jakob (new)

Jakob Shingler | 4 comments I never bothered to read the books or watch any of the movies until high school. I read the series then watched the movies, and books are definitely better than the movies but I still appreciate them just the same. I try to read the series at least once a year because it’s so good and the world building is amazing!

Evie Rose-Teresa | 5 comments I really want to read this series, but I HATEE J.K Rowling so I’m gonna buy them secondhand.
