Anushka Malik (_anushkamalik) | 460 comments Upto the end of Chapter 9:

I'm really having fun with this book. It's quite different from anything I've read before. Never would I have thought a workplace romance of the Supernatural genre would hit all the right spots for me. But somehow it's working. It's fun to see how the Villain reacts to everything related to Evie. His evil masterplan is as of yet unclear to me.

P.s. Chapter 9 ended at SUCH A MAJOR CLIFFY that I don't know if I can wait to read what happens next until tomorrow.

Anushka Malik (_anushkamalik) | 460 comments I'm ahead of the group's schedule because well... this is a really fun read. I just finished chapter 28 and even though neither of the MCs back stories are very clear at this point, it's still intriguing enough to keep going. The mystery behind who the mole in the office might be is adding more layers to the whole thing. The chemistry between the Villain and Evie is of course endearing and sweet. This isn't a dark Villain, ladies and gentlemen, and though he might kill me for saying so, he's a big ole' softy at heart and I'm absolutely smitten. Just you wait until you find out what he names the dragon.... hahahahahahah

Anushka Malik (_anushkamalik) | 460 comments I loved the magical creatures (mates) part and the office slumber party, of course. :D

Anushka Malik (_anushkamalik) | 460 comments I finished chapter 41 and there's a party. A party where something seems on the verge of happening. Maybe some of the backstory will finally be revealed. *fingers crossed*

Brianna C | 1248 comments Took a little bit of a break from reading but started this one today!

through end of chapter 9: I'm a smidge confused about the world - for some reason didn't realize The Villain has magic? And don't quite understand his magic as of yet. I am definitely intrigued - there are a lot of modern aspects but is kind of set in a medieval type time frame? I secretly hope we get more of the dragon tamer and the healer - the smidge little glimpse was pretty cute.

Anushka Malik (_anushkamalik) | 460 comments Yes. This is a fantasy romance. A few characters have magical abilities. It's medieval mostly with horses and carriages and kings and knights and healers and taverns and ale and stuff like that.

Brianna C | 1248 comments Yeah - I knew going in that it is a fantasy romance - for some reason by brain was just thinking it would be like magical creatures and such and not so much people wielding magic. Could not tell you WHY my brain was thinking that but it was lol so it just threw me off at first.

through end of chapter 19:
The family we have now met has just increased my curiosity into what the Villain's back story is.
