Finished reading a touch of gold and madness and was looking for the next book to satisfy my fantasy romance cravings and found this…holy moley it did not disappoint. Loved how it’s focused on fantasy themes, world building, questing and sarcastic banter btw MMC & FMC vs graphic sex scenes out of nowhere like some romanticy novels. Also found the side quest characters super intriguing..while I hope the author doesn’t pull an ACOTAR and do the next book completely focusing on side characters I would love to get a bit more detail around Renfin and his obvious infatuation with Everlayne..there’s something there we all know it haha

What did everyone think of quicksilver? I felt like I’m kinda sick of the chosen one trope and might need a break from that. the first 100 pages and the last 150 pages were very captivating but I felt like the middle part was what had been bored.

Hey gab I personally love the trope but they way it was done in this book is cliche tbh I think everything else that was happening in the story made up for anything that was repetitive and I also loved the personalities of all of the characters so I was able to overlook it💛 also I need book to now because the way that ended I have to know what happened the ending had so much stuff going on. I’m having a hard time even remembering details lol

This was so good. I can’t stop thinking about it! Cannot wait for the next one!!

I just finished this book and I loved it!! I thought the beginning was a little slow, but once it got going I could not put it down !

This is being released on Audible the 29/10/24 and I am so relieved as I wanted to take this book for when I go on holiday but was slightly dreading my only option being the hardback version…😂

Im halfway through the book and im kinda bored, does it get better?

I found the plot to be interesting while I was reading it but its been a few months and I cant remember what happened. I also remember disliking the writing - felt too flowery and the story got lost in whole pages of description. I will be reading book two tho so theres that

I just finished this book on audible. Voice actors were great and it helped keep up the energy of the story. The last half of the book is SO much better than the first half.

I see a few books named "Quicksilver'. Which one are we talking about?

I was really scared because it was so hyped up and I looked in his little print to the book that I got and it was longer than I usually read, but I devoured it. I really did enjoy this book and I’m looking forward to the second book.

I was a bit scared going into the book just because it was SO HYPED UP and its always a hit or miss when books are really hyped, but i actually really liked it. I think it was a good read just the one thing that irked me a bit was his name I JUST COULDNT WITH IT but it was a good book

Also scared if its overhyped….nope!! Totally justified 🩶
