I can’t lie i just really REALLY want the next book to come out now. I feel like reckless is a good build up for what’s going to happen in the next book. I also need more of kai (husband)

Reckless was a pretty good read. A little too much fluff but it was nice

Is anyone else finding this book to be very repetitive? Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying it (77% of the way through) but the pattern of conversation and events are just happening over and over. I’m also wanting more of the fantasy side of the story to develop. Is it just me?

I was quite disappointed with Reckless, sadly! It was repetitive and the plot wasn’t plotting 🤪 Definitely intrigued enough to read the next book though.

I've now read 36 chapters

I'm trying to get it done, because my library copy is due back on the 6th.

I finished reckless and it felt like it was a lit ofbthem just crossing the desert. The plot was sort of non existent and for some reason the ending didn’tvsurprise me at all.

But wait…Callum? How did he end up back in the story?

I just can’t get trough this book and I don’t know why because I loved Powerless! Maybe because I imagined it how it would be and now because it’s not as I imagined my brain just can’t get over it 😭

So maybe kind of an unpopular opinion, but I loved Reckless. More than Powerless. The game of cat and mouse. The struggle between hate/love. Only thing was I wish that Adena was mentioned more. And also I really wanted them to bring in Mak from Powerful - but there is still time for that to happen in Fearless!

I really liked this book! I think it was a little bit different from the type of fantasy that I usually read, but I did like the banter. I agree that it was a little bit too much fluff, but it was still a really good read !!

All things considered, I think I might have enjoyed Reckless more than Powerless myself. But it did feel like a lot of filler.

Also, am I the only one who doesn't hate Kitt?

I honestly think I liked this one more than the first one. Even if it was a lot of filler.

I've only just started it today - finished Powerless yesterday... which I didn't like as much as I thought I would. But! I don't yet hate Kitt, however, I don't know what's in store for the next 400 pages! So far, he just has the "middle child" vibe. People-pleasing, eager to impress, scared of rejection, peace-maker etc. Maybe his downfall is that he loves too much...

What does everyone else think of Kitt? I am asking this knowing I am probably setting myself up for spoilers, but I'm intrigued!

DNF at 75%. Flipped to the end to confirm what I already figured was going to happen. This started off promising. I really liked the beginning, but Pae and Kai’s ‘banter’ is so annoying that I was begging for one of them to just kill the other. I fear I’m done with this series.

loved powerless but this was moving way too slowly

i really enjoyed it but felt like a lot of the scenes were the same thing over and over. I still gave it five stars though and i can’t wait for fearless.

almost dnfed just because it felt like everything was the same - they’re in a hotel, same fight, they break in another place and have the same fights again. i do see how it was to build that tension to the last part of the book which i found was good ending and builds a lot of excitement for the next book release

I enjoyed reading this book honestly. While I admit it was repetitive and in general, I don’t feel like it added a ton to the current plot, it was a fun read regardless. I’m excited for the next book to come out because I can tell that Reckless was the build up book for that. My hope is that we get some more fantasy in this Romantasy. Guess we’ll see in April :)

Not my favorite series, but a solid read nonetheless. I just don’t love the characters. Powerful absolutely wrecked me though. That one was a 5 star read for sure.
