I ended up finishing Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones for prompt #1 and The Woman in Me for prompt #3. I am still waiting on Cinder to come in from the library, and based on how slow I have been on reading on my Kindle (I had 4 ARCs that came out this month and have not finished any of them), I will not be finishing Rua.
I finished my second summer class earlier in the month and started a new semester yesterday, so if I get Cinder in the next day or two, I should be able to finish it, other wise, I will be trying to stick only to audiobooks for the next few months.
So, although I only got halfway through the prompts, I honestly feel like surviving this month made it a success :)

Hello and welcome to 2024's 8th round of Wheel of TBR! First off I'd like to apologize for posting this month's prompts so late- its been a bit chaotic on my end this week and this is the first opportunity I've had to get this discussion thread up. Second, there are only 4 prompts this round but one of them depends on the response from one of you- and since I didn't reach out until this evening I hope you're all ok waiting just a little longer for that prompt's reveal. Basically what I'm saying is I'm a bit of a mess this month, haha! But I hope you'll still stick around and continue the quest of reading as many great books as possible so without further ado I present to you this month's prompts!
The Prompts
Spin #1
Spin #2
*This is the second month in a row this type of challenge has popped up but I'm not mad at it! It's been successful in getting me to read books I've had on my shelves FOREVER and some have been so good I'm sorry I waited so long to read them. I hope you all have a similar experience.
Spin #3
*Another repeat offender but one that provides a different challenge each time- I hope you've been having as much fun with these as I have!
Spin #4
*Shia chose the prompt: read a retelling!
And that's a wrap- it's a short and sweet round this month so it should be an easy one to beat- as always I'm eager to see your TBR's and I wish you all an amazing reading month!📚🫶🏻
