It’s time for the next Monthly Reading Wrap Up! This Month I Read…

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas- This series is so good! I’m pretty sure I’m liking it more than ACOTR at this point. I love Chaol and Celaena and am hoping for better in the future, but my hopes aren’t too high. haha. This book kept you reading and guessing. I did figure out one twist early on, but that was due to reading about the next books in the series. The rest of it I didn’t see coming. I’m enjoying the ride of reading a great series and can’t wait to keep going.

Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid-I listened to this on Audio. This one was so cute. I loved the two diverging storylines and seeing how they played similarly yet differently was very interesting. I did feel a bit hit over the head with the cutesy cinnamon roll quirk, but it didn’t bother me too bad. There was a nice interview with the author that really added to it as well.

Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid- Another TJR. I think I only have 2 books left before I’ve read all of hers. This book is all about character and Carrie Soto is certainly a character. She’s unlikeable and you want to root for her at the same time. She’s the same, yet completely different at the end. It’s just wonderful. I will say I knew next to nothing about tennis going into this and it is very tennis heavy. I got confused a few times and had to research tennis rules. I loved this book though, and highly recommend it.

Happy Reading!
