Katsy Cannady The most horrible part of abuse can come from the one person who you believe loves you more than anyone, a parent. These children were locked into this with no real reason to compare to other families or homes. Others were deceived and dragged into this woman's obsessive need to control and abuse. Trying to get away was another horror, especially when it was too hard to put into words. If the whole story seems to be jumbled I believe it is in the telling of it and the remembrances that come and go like inadvertent nightmares. The writer may have been able to sequence and untangle some of it but you wouldn't have gotten the fearful scattering that happens to the mind as you tear through the many horrors.
