I have read about 1/3 of the book. So good! I am getting caught up in the political intrigue. I love this little girl and her childhood companion's stories loosely based on the truth of.their world. What storytellers children can be--and I get sad that we reprimand them out of it--and I get happy to delight in the magic again.
Ummm interesting that the wise fool is named a Shakespearean name--Yorik--like the court fool that Hamlet remembers as anothee yapper man .
