Everyone, please join me in appreciation. I think this group is valuable, even if it's quiet, so I'm glad I have help protecting its integrity.

He accused me of pushing my books when I only referenced them as examples in order to instigate some meaningful in-depth discussion, something that was lost on him.
At the time, I decided to direct my efforts elsewhere and that decision has paid off given in the interim I have been published in an International Sci-Fi Anthology for three years running, and I was also approached by a renowned Sci-Fi Podcast that professionally produced audio versions of five of my Historical Fiction Time Traveling short stories, which are now available for free listening online:

As well, I just produced an Audiobook of one of my Time Traveling Novels narrated by a nationally known voice artist, over eight hours of awesome, an endeavor of which I'm very proud.
I've never left the group understand, just stopped participating, yet I do check in from time to time to keep abreast of things and, sad to say, participation has indeed gone down hill since I have stopped being an active member.
Discussion, once vigorous, is now almost nil, reduced to mere statements of 'I liked this' or 'I didn't like that.'
I am sorry to notice that you were now abandoned and left to your own devices, as it seemed, and it's nice to see that others in the group have stepped forward to help fill the breach.
To that end, I'd like to offer five free copies of my audiobook to the group, to stimulate some discussion.
The Epic Fable is Time Traveling Historical Fiction, with real people and documented circumstances, and covers several periods of human achievement, and hopefully your members might find it worthy of their attention.
Just a thought.
If you'd like to take me up on the offer, let me know at howardloring@outlook.com or message me at goodreads.

Hi Howard! I remember you from the original group. I enjoyed your wild discussions. I wasn't much of a participant back then and am the same as now. I read your book "Beyond the Elastic Limit" and must have enjoyed it because I gave it 3 stars.

Thanks Glynn, the audiobook I mentioned is another novel and I'd gladly send you a link for a free copy if you wish. I love to hear what you think of this one. Just message me if you wish...
Hey Cheryl, I just dropped by to enjoy reading any new discussions, which I have been doing on occassion but have been doing so in the shadows.
You are very much a longtime hero of this group, especially maintaining the group reads. I'm sorry I have not been contributing as I never recovered from the damn "Reader's block" that I have...I just can't read novels anymore, through sheer lack of...well, I don't know what, patience? But I know what's caused it..,smartphones. Bloody evil things.
I'm still listed as a co-moderator. If you decide to keep me on as one, let me know, if there is anything you like me to help with.

Hey Howard, good to "see" you, long time! Hope I am not the one that you mentioned but I was one of a couple of moderators, here keeping the posts relevant in all sections, which involved removing a post and copy pasting it in other relevant threads. This did often include Authors' posts. Having said that I don't really recall doing that with you. You do mention your books a lot but they were always related to the topic in the thread.
And yes, back in the day, the group was striving with invigorating discussions and activities because there were several mods at the helm. With just Cheryl holding the reigns, I think she has done an incredible job sustaining the group book club reads.
To anyone else reading this post, Howard is a damn good writer and wordsmith, I read his first book several years ago and it was a great read.

I just dropped in to make the point re the downhill curve of the group, and offer copies of my new Audiobook in order to engender some discussion, which hasn't engendered any response, by the by.
Just proves my point, so I guess I'm back to the shadows once more.
I'd really appreciate help. You wouldn't have to do much.
Participate a couple of times a month.
Early in the month make sure that the new monthly discussion thread is open (either open it yourself, or send me a PM if I forgot).
And check in once in awhile to make sure that spammers haven't taken over.
