The Catholic Book Club discussion

Hi, all:

I'm currently Reading Unicorn in the Sanctuary : The Impact of the New Age and was wondering if anyone has any other recommendations for similar books? I'm specifically looking for books that unearth New Age heresies from a Catholic perspective and provide information on how to combat them. I've also read:

The New Age Counterfeit
Catholics and the New Age
Overcoming the Power of the Occult

I feel like out of anyone, this group would be able to provide the best, most orthodox titles. I appreciate all your help.

Until this moment i think that nobody purposed books about this topic. Emmy if you want to purpose you can do it in the section of current nominations in Spain skeaks a lot of this topic in the magazine Religión en Libertad.

Emmy, may I suggest the following books (and my reviews for them)?

The Great Divorce C.S. Lewis;
The Machine Stops E.M..Forster; and
The Man Named Thursday Chesterton.I

All of them foresaw New Age problems in the early 1900's.

A good new one is Advent by M. Kamakana.

And just in case anyone else is following this list, I just read and LOVED The Occult Among Us: Exorcists and Former Occultists Expose the Nature of This Modern Evil. Utterly terrifying, but a fascinating read that I struggled to put down.

Not yet, but you'll never believe this! I had requested it a few weeks ago from the library and it JUST came in 😂 I guess I'll have to bump that to the top of my list!
