Tr1sha | 337 comments The challenge is to read at least one biography or autobiography of an author or other inspirational person. If you choose a biography, it may be a modern book about a classic author & the usual rule about publication dates can be ignored.

Examples include

Travels with Charley: In Search of America by John Steinbeck
Charles Dickens by Claire Tomalin

Some possible choices which I had planned to read this year ( I am not expecting to get through them all but may surprise myself!)

2The Snake Has All the LinesbyJean Kerr✔7/9/24 ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

This one is my favourite as it is about a classic author and playwright many of whose works were published and performed between 1940 and 1970 but is actually his later AUTOBIOGRAPHY published in 1987.I hope you will allow it in the challenge.

Beginning an extra as I'm trying to complete this for another challenge.I hope I'll finish it this month!
Delta Lady: MemoirbyRita Coolidge 23/9/24★ ★ ★ ★
