Unteachable question

This book consumed me, shocked me, emotionally destroyed me. I can’t stop thinking of it. So beyond beautiful! The writing is so poetic and lyrical, visceral, stunning, intense. An open nerve book!

What are your thoughts of the ending and after?! I need soundboards of what others think. Evan came back! They’ll go to LA, love and heal, and grow together! Maise is strong. Evan is becoming stronger. Together, they will live life together! That’s how I feel. They will conquer all. I’m so glad it didn’t end like Casablanca! I thought it was going to be a foreshadow.

Or…

Will it parallel Siobhan’s life… Will Maise and Evan marry after 5 years? Will his eye wander to another “student”….. I would like to know more about Evan and the previous student. It sounded like it all ended right when he met Maise! He changed his name after they met. So did he really learn? Was he able to differentiate his issues and not repeat his mistake…..

I know Maise will be ok and strong whatever happens. She’s resilient!!! She learns and conquers. She is flexible and can change in response to chaos. Evan makes her feel alive. She makes him alive. Will they conquer their demons and grow together? I believe they have and will continue doing so.

Will Wesley accept them as a couple? I think Maise will become successful. I think Evan will conquer his dream of acting! He’ll become big. Maise will direct a film staring Evan!

I loved reading Evan’s past! He was very smart, in many organizations, a top student, successful! I want him to find himself again. After the affair with first student, I can’t believe he was repeating his mistake again! Wasn’t he traumatized enough from that? Or could he really tell the difference between obsession and love? How could he trust himself to know? When he saw Wesley’s video of Maise and “obsession,” didn't that make him question everything?
