Celebrating Failure

Hey Librarians, the ISBN 10 is missing for my book titled Celebrating Failure (Hardcover). Can it please be added? Also, kindly note that the ISBN 13 mentioned is correct.

The hardcover book you linked has the ISBN-13 9798895440742. ISBN-13 numbers that start with 979 do not have an equivalent ISBN-10 number. The ISBN-10 you provided, 8895440742, is invalid according to the Library of Congress: https://www.loc.gov/programs/preassig... When checking the ISBN-10, it shows the error: "This 10-digit ISBN is invalid. The check digit should be 9."

It looks like a system error with the Library of Congress.

According to ISBN.org, "13-digit ISBNs starting with 978 or 979 should be used to identify a book. Currently, the U.S. ISBN Agency assigns ISBNs starting with either 978-0 or 978-1"

And ISBN mentioned here was issued by a publisher in India.

ISBN13 numbers that start with 978 do have equivalent ISBN10. ISBN13 numbers that start with 979 do not have equivalent ISBN10.

The Library of Congress isn't wrong. The number you provided also gives an error here on Goodreads. You should double check the number but like I explained only ISBN13 that start with 978 has an equivalent ISBN13. Since the hardcover edition already has the ISBN13 that starts with 979 nothing needs to be added.
