yep!! as long as you know for certain that the physical copy would be over a hundred pages long. graphic novels & fanfictions also count.

no, it's not required lolll...but it's a great way to socialize with book besties and get reading suggestions!!

yes, everything u read counts as long as u FINISH it in between the 1st of the month and the 30th of the month.

I've had this question ever since the BOTM for October came out, but I was wondering what we would do if a book were to fit into more than one category? I have a few books I want to read that are by the author of some of the BOTM but also have black/purple/orange covers and I am wondering which amount of points I should give them during next month's reading challenge.

@Evelyn - I’d say u can choose whichever prompt is the highest 🥰 So in that case, u could put the Colored Book prompt for 75 pts instead of the author of a BOTM prompt for 50 pts❣️🫂

2. Does rereading a book start to finish count for points?

1. Not for the September Reading Challenge (but that might change for the October one....but if it does, we'll let u guys know & explain the changes 🤣🥰)

2. Yep!! (including rereading BOTMs) Also, audiobooks, graphic novels, ebooks, & fanfictions count (as long as they're over 100 pgs!!)

Just wondering, ive read some of the BOTMs for October but i kinda prefer to just reread them instead of replacing them, is that fine or do i need to get special request books?

I've been asking quite a few questions regarding the color of a book's cover lately, and I promise this will be the last one, but what if there are multiple editions of a book and you're reading a copy that's one color, but a different edition has a different cover. For example, Goodreads shows a gray cover A Court of Silver Flames but my copy (and most others I believe) is orange. I'm assuming it counts as the usual 75 points for a book with a black/orange/purple cover but I just want to double-check.

you can go by your the copy you're reading (the orange one!!)

I have a question. If we have read a botm before, let's say aggtm, I don't get points for that rn, it does not contribute to October until I reread it but I CAN get a special request book for aggtm because we get 1 srb for every botm we have alr read. Right?
Idk it seems simple enough but someone said something else somewhere and now I'm confused

if u have already read a BOTM, u do not need to reread it to get a SRB 🩸👻

Where do I go to request a special request book?

In the “of the months” tab, there’s a thread that says “already read 1+ BOTM?” And you jut say what book you’ve already read and then your special request.
